I fished yesterday afternoon and today from noon to almost 6pm. The front really took a bite out of my bite. Yesterday afternoon I fished with a husband and wife who both love the outdoors. We were able to catch a few small fish, but bites were difficult to come by. We had a great time trying though, and I'm looking forward to fishing with this couple again.

Today turned out to be incredible, we fished from noon to 6pm and incredibly, I almost had one of those unheard of days on Guntersville, especially for this time of year. We fished points, humps, ledges and flats from Seibold to South Sauty with spinnerbaits, rattlebaits, jigs, lizards, top-water and even a shakey head on a fairy-wand. Incredibly, in all but one stop we didn't get a bite. Well, we thought we may have had a couple bites but even those were unsure. I'm thinking the one bite I had was a mirage. If not for one sawed off black tip about 7 inches long caught by the guy in the back, we would have been shut out. Well, we did get one little stripe as well...

I promised the guys they'd bite tomorrow... lol. It was a super tough afternoon for us.

I know I have some mail that I haven't gotten to, and I'm trying to catch up. Hopefully this week I'll get back to everyone. I appreciate the patience.

The new update for Casting For Crowns will be up sometime tomorrow at www.castingforcrowns.org

We will be swinging at them all day tomorrow. Maybe whatever shut them down today will be over. I figure they were resting up from fiting the wind currents this past week... I know I need a break from the breeze. I'm ready for 95 degrees, no wind, and the only clouds in the sky being of the gnat variety.

We released the one hatchling we caught today alive.

Good luck, great fishing and all Gods grace.

Days are open for last minute trip scheduling.
