Water Clarity: Not reported

On the way to Balus ramp we stopped by Oakwood bait store and picked up some monster bluebacks from John and launched at around 6:30a. I decided to stay close and really fish all the points and pockets since we had a storm moving in. Noticed some agresive top water action going on and got to them before anyone else saw them. Pulled free lined herring around them while pitching a fluke and red fins. Fished till around 12:00p with much luck. On the morning we caught a total of 5 stripers and 10 spots.
