Submitted by Kenneth Powell (ip 68.18.108.48)

Date Fished: 5/10/2008
Water Temperature: 69
Water Clarity: 2-3 feet

Fished a small tournament Saturday and it took 14.6 lbs to win. Most of the fish were caught in the Beaver and Skaggs creek area using plastic lizards and worms. Most of the fish were on beds or just moving up. My partner and I came in fifth with 10 lbs. caught on gravel spawning flats near the main lake of Beaver creek. All of our fish were caught with a 200 series Bandit crank bait. We fished the edges of the weed lines. When the sun came out the bite was over.
