Subject: Santee Cooper, Alabama Submitted by SPINNERBAIT KID GUIDE SERVICE
Date Fished: 5/12/2008 Water Temperature: 74 Got to fish last Wed and Thur on Santee Cooper. Wed a good friend of mine let me practice with him for a few hours in the morning. The first fifteen minutes he caught an 8 lber so I liked the lake. We fished for 4 hours catching 5 about 19 lbs and shaking off 14 more bites.We caught our fish on frogs and soft plastics. Thur fished as a co-angler and my boater sight fished so I got to do a lot of watching. We did fish some cypress trees for a couple hours but never got a bite. That afternoon got back to the weigh-in and dad had some health probelms only fished half the day so we left after the weigh-in. Congrats Rany Tharp on another big win this year he blew the field away with 44 lbs. Back on Guntersville tomorrow. I am booked for May. In june I have the 2nd, 5th-9th, 12th, 16th-19th, 22nd, 24-25th, and 30th. Alex Davis
