Water Clarity: 1 foot Due to 20 mph winds, my guide trip was re-scheduled for a later date. The largemouth bite has been slow for me, so I went below the Dam and tried to catch a big striper. I drug this big shad for 8 hrs covering every inch of the water. At dark this big shad was still kickin. Didn't get bit on the big shad but, I caught well over 100 fish on smaller shad, spoons, grubs, Pop R's and small cranks. Caught 2 limits of whites, cats, crappie, jar, drum and a limit of small spots. The fish wore me out. My hands have battle scars but, it sure was fun. Booked for May and I have a few days left for June. Mike Jones has a few days left for May and Jerry McCullough who is working on his Capt. license for Guntersville has days in May. Jerry is guiding on Logan Martin, Jordan and Mitchell until he gets his Capt. license. Jerry caught a 5 pound plus spot Friday on Logan Martin and had several more good fish. Gone Fishing!
