Date Fished: 5/13/2008 Water Temperature: 67 Had a full day trip with a husband and wife. They brought their fly reels and we tried to catch topwater fish for a few hours this morning boating 2 and missing 2. We then switched to 8 inch split tails and other soft plastics and fished deeper drops in 5-8 ft and caught 10 more and lost a few. Ended with 12 best 5 17 lbs with big fish of 4 1/2. She caught the biggest bass of her life which was fun to watch. The shallow bite seemed to die and the deeper bite was slow but still produced all nice keepers. I am booked for May. In June I have the 5th-10th, 12th, 16th-19th, 22nd, 24,25th, and 30th. The topwater bite should turn on soon. Alex
