Submitted by Hawg Hunter (ip 65.41.253.13)

Date Fished: 5/25/2008
Water Temperature: 74
Water Clarity: 2-3 feet

Fished from 6AM till 2PM. Started out fishing mats of primrose with a Zoom Horny Toad frog in the Bullfrog color. Didn't get bit until around 8AM and then it was 3 hits in about 15 mins. The first blew through the grass and grabbed the frog. Didn't get the hooked set and lost it. The second one blew through the grass and was able to get it hooked. The bass was 20 inches. Same thing happened on the third one and missed it. Around 9AM we started throwing texas rigged worms and Carolina rigs. I had about 6 or 7 bites but was unable to hook up. Propably blue gills. Caught a 5 or 6 pound channel cat on a texas rigged tequila sunrise gulp worm. Had a good day until the pleasure boaters hit the lake in force. Happy Hawg Hunting.
