This is a report for the weekend(Sat.-Monday). Sat had a trip with a family of 4 brothers and a girlfriend(5 total 2 boats). Rodney and I got on the spinnerbait bite first thing in the morning and then after about 0930 the bite was dead. We moved to deeper water working drops and humps boating good number in the AM and better size in the afternoon. Had two of the brothers boat thier personal best and they left happy. Sunday got out with Beth working on the deeper bite and dodging the boat traffic and vacation boaters. Water was rough to say the least on the lower end but, we did end up doing ok with the jig bite. Today did the same things and also worked some docks to practice some stuff before leaving town for a tournament. Numbers were good with the better fish still coming between 18-25 feet. Baits that worked well for the weekend were slim, we used blades in the morning then switched to the Flick Shake worm and Omega 3/4 and 1oz jigs for the deeper bite. The dock bite was all on Flick Shakes and 1/2-3/8 jigs with Netbait trailers. All in all a good weekend for the traffic on the water and awsome weather.
