Date Fished: 5/26/2008 Water Temperature: 77 What a weekend! I hope everyone got to spend some time with family and friends but more importantly - I hope you took the time to remember those who have given their all so we have this freedom! Saturday was beautiful and wound up HOT! But Chopper and I didn't do so hot. He did catch a big ol' cat on a spinnerbait and we had some smaller fish. Monday, I spent the day with my family. Parents, siblings, aunts, nieces and nephews and such at the lake my brother lives on. A beautiful mountain lake. As Chris says ... "We wacked 'em!" Between me, my wife, two daughters, Dad, and a nephew we caught at least 125 bass and a half dozen warmouths and really only fished about 5 hours total. Most of the bass were dinks but I got the pictured 5-2 around 10:30. We had a blast. Like Grasshopper said of his trip, my oldest daughter had never caught a bass. The four of us fished together a good bit. I hope we do more of that!
