Date Fished: 6/1/2008 Water Temperature: 76 This report is for Fri, Sat, and Sunday. Fri had a half day morning trip with a regular client wanting to learn some new patterns. We caught a few on topwater then switched to jigs and big worms for most of the trip. We caught fish non stop the entire trip. We ended with 18 fish losing and missing a bunch. Caught fish on Choo Choo jigs and Go 2 Bait worms in 4-8 ft on grass edges. Big fish was over 4 lbs lbs with a bunch in the 3 lb range. Sat had a full day trip with clients wanting to learn the lake. The bite was tougher managing 17 fish with a bunch in the 2-3 lb range with big fish near 6 lbs. Caught fish on Go 2 Bait paddletail worms in 6-10 ft on humps. Today was a awesome topwater bite. We threw topwaters nearly the entire trip. We had 60-70 blowups boating 34 and losing a bunch at the boat or in the grass. We caught a couple swimming a worm but couldn't resist the topwater bite. Did have a nice spot today but couldn't get the big fish out of the grass today. The topwater bite is picking up and should be fun this month. I have June 17th,19th,22nd,24th,25th, and 30th open.
