Water Clarity: 2-3 feet Out fishing a few days this week and the top water bite is best mid- day. I have basically left the middle to back of the creeks to fish main lake and creek mouth humps and points. My best top water plug has been a SPRO Dawg in clear Chartreuse work quickly around any boils or blow ups. Instead of blind casting I have been running and gunning until I find active fish then waiting until the appear on top before even casting. Several times I chunked the SPRO Dawg where the fish just exploded and the lure disappeared right after it hit the water. Basstrix Swim Baits, Zoom Flukes and Drop Shots Rigs have been producing very well in the same areas. We have been catching a lot of spotted bass after dark on large black spinner baits worked around shallow brush in the creeks. Good luck and God Bless! Eric Aldrich.
