Water Clarity: 2-3 feet Hit up the monk after work this past thursday, and fished from 4 to 730 pm.
put in at the north launch and went straight to the opposite bank then worked left (west i think) toward the bend in the reservoir.
conditions were great with lots of shade and a light breeze. all together i got 5 largemouth and 2 smallmouth. All were caught right along the bank on a 4 inch smoke /black flake senko rigged weedless. Smallmouth caught over rocks, largmouths were locating to weeds. No sizes to brag about, largest being a shade over 2 pounds.
once i hit the turn in the reservoir i trolled back to the launch with a deep diving jointed rapala and picked up a white perch... not what i was looking for after getting a musky on the same lure last week.
