Water Clarity: 0 After a bone-jarring ride from Cassells-Boykin ramp to the deerstand, we found the wind was howling and the waves were high blowing into the outer(west)side of deerstand area. we couldn't start fishing till 6am so we let the wind push us into som buckbrush right on a small point. we sat for about 5 minutes and at 6 we started throwing spook juniors into the wind. from 6:00 to 6:20 we boated over 20 fish- all between 13 and 13 3/4 inches. spent most of the day just throwing sinkos and yellow magics at grass edges. hit and miss. wound up back toward monterey park throwing black ribbits ove shallow grass. the guy if fished with had 5 fish total weight 11.71 with 4.75 big fish. only got rained on once. nice day. would have been nicer if wind would have dropped 5mph.
