Water Clarity: 1 foot Fished Harris saturday in a club tourny 5:45-1, was till 2 orignally but they wanted to switch it first thing that morning due to the heat. Me personally could have fished till 3-4 but I didnt say anything. It was hot but had a pretty good breeze all day and the fish bit pretty good for me and the guy i fished with. Started off that morning fishing primrose, caught a solid 15 1/2 inch fish.. the only time your praying for it not to be 16 then comes up about close as it gets. Partner catches a slot then a keeper. Then i have one of the best top water hits i have ever had in my life, she weighed 5.03 i mean it was an explosion. On a frog in the middle of the primrose. Then caught my 3rd keeper a little later. From 12:15- 45 we caught about 7 fish slots, shorts and keepers. Partner ended up with 4 keepers. I had 3 then the boat cut off on the way to weigh in. We were on a pretty good pattern we felt right before weighing in. So we werent able to weigh in because we were late but weighed them in anyway, i had 9 something with 3 idk what the guy i was fishing with had but it was less then that. So 1.10 won the tournament. Woulda taken a picture of the fish but was pretty frustrated.
