Water Clarity: 4 feet or greater Bass fishing has been very good and several methods are working well for me. The top water bite seems to be best on bright sunny days. SPRO Dawgs 100's and 125's have been my best lure for top water action. A Zoom Double Fluke rig has been a close second for the schoolies. This weekend when the overcast skies came in I figured that they would whack a top water plug or a faster moving bait but I actually caught them best on a modified drop shot rig that we have been testing. They seemed to like the green pumpkin Zoom Finesse worms on a 2/0 EWG Gamakatsu hook at around 10 to 20 feet on wind blown points around standing timber.
