Date Fished: 7/5/2008 Water Temperature: 86 The Spotted Bass on Jordan are stacking up on brush piles on main lake points. The Shakeyhead worms have been producing very well. Drop shots will work too. Went Saturday from daylight untill 11 am. Only fished for spots. Started early in about 12ft of water on main lake and caught 2 solid 3 pounders on jig. Had one bite on a spinnerbait but it came off. By 9 o'clock the spots were out in 16 ft of water buried in brush. Caught 5 more on shakeyhead worm and 2 on dropshot. The bite was a little slow. But best 5 around 13 lbs. If I were going to fish a tournament I would start with trying the largemouth in the grass early with buzzbaits and spinnerbaits untill sun gets high on the water, then stay in deep brush the rest of the day.
