Water Clarity: 2-3 feet We are experiencing an excellent early morning topwater bite in creeks along marsh banks or grass beds and along the main river grass beds by using buzz baits, poppers and grass frogs. Strikes can be explosive. As the sun gets higher, we switch to a Mann’s Baby-1 Minus crank bait or Chatterbaits and fish along grass edges and wood. As the tide falls, we are finding good action around wood and docks when we using plastic crawfish imitators or jig and craw combos. A creature bait rigged Texas style with a heavy sinker and pitched into heavy mats of grasses can produce some good bass. We continue to make contact with Snake Heads on almost every trip now. The Snake
Heads like the same baits as the bass.
