Date Fished: 7/8/2008 Water Temperature: 86 Today was the last day for the "Fishers of Men" trail to be on the water in preparation for their up coming tournament. I fished with a father and son getting ready for the tournament next weekend, and as the bass have been proving all summer the day was good and the fishing was strong. We started out on top and the bass were breaking everywhere, we boated a few missed a few and within an hour the top water bite was gone and we moved on to do some worm fishing with Mister Twister big 11 inch worms, and some deep cranking. We moved on and off fish very quickly as these gentleman had some time restraints fished a lot of areas from mid river south, boated several good fish and had another good day on the water. Probably not as many bites as yesterday but still caught a lot of fish. I have days next week available please call for details.
