Water Clarity: 4 feet or greater I met my son at the main launch and we got in the water around 10am,,the water temp was 79 when we started but climbed up to 83 by the time we left. We saw plenty of bass,,,3 and 4 at a time would rush up to your bait like they were going to destroy it,,and then just stop and swim away,,,we threw everything we had at them trying to get a reaction strike or any kind of strike,,but did manage to pick up 8 on 4&1/4 inch slim stiks,,,Red w/red and black flake,,seems that was the only thing that would work,,,also tried black,,green pumpkin,,,but like always,,the red seem to be the hot ticket,,,My son got 5 and I ended up with 3,,naturally I got my ass busted for being outfished,,I just told him not to forget "Who taught you how to fish,,lol" Saw some nice size bass swimming around but all 8 we caught were in the 12 inch range.
