Water Clarity: 4 feet or greater Fished for 7 days straight in the morning (5:00am to 11:00am). Fished rocky shore line with steep drop. Anything watermellon seed worked, but YUM Craw Papi, Senko, and 4" finesse worm were the big producers. All fish caught on Craw Papi were over 2lbs. My daughter caught a 6lb largemouth on a 4" finesse worm using a spinning rod with 6lb test line.....VERY EXCITING!! Shaky head jig head on all bait except the Craw Papi was Texas rigged.
Early top water on a Pop-R landing several nice smallmouth fishing shoals.
Fished in deep water by the dam all week after top water bite stopped.
