Water Clarity: 2-3 feet I cheated before going to the G last week and called Troy Jens. We have used him four or five times in the past and I know he's the man to get a quick tip from. We followed his advice last Thurs. and used top water baits most of the day along with spinner baits and the occasional plastics. My buddy go his personal best (not including private lakes) of about 7lbs.on a Pop-R type bait. My dad had a mule jump off on a SB that looked like 5-6lbs. We had 6 to 7 good keepers and another 20-25 schoolers for the day. Went back Mon. and Tues. and struggled Mon. in the wind with only 4 keepers and a bunch of dinks. Rebounded Tues. out on the main with 9-10 keepers on plastics and had a 5lb-15oz best fish with a bunch of dinks. I credit Troy with teaching us what to look for and how to pattern the big G. I would highly recommend booking him to maximize your time on the water.Thank you Lord and thanks to all those who preserve our freedom!
