Subject: Lake Champlain North of Bridge, Vermont

Submitted by skibbie (ip 68.142.32.153)

Date Fished: 7/29/2008
Water Clarity: 1 foot

Fished with a youngester from 1630-1800 and landed five LM and one SM using crankbait. Lake is way up at 97+feet and up alot from last week due to excessive rain. Muddy conditions especially near drainages. Wind was howling from NW and I was committed to take a teenager out and was definitely worth the trip. We each landed 3 bass using Rapala's and Minus's and I lost a bruiser that came way out and threw the hook in my direction. Real nice fish........ Be prepared for high water conditions with more rain forcasted.
