Date Fished: 7/30/2008 Went up north first thing today ,and struggled a bit. Got a few small fish on main river grass from the bridge to piscataway. Then ran down to chickamuxen did good late morning had 2 weigh over 4 lbs ,and all the 2 1/2 pounders you could shake a stick at.throwing horny toads ,and chatterbaits. Then ran down to wades had a few bites went accross to aqua caught a few in the mouth.Then smoked them in the creek in the grass.Had to have at least 20 in the boat one weighed 5.2lbs on a senko. had 5 or 6 other ones between 2 1/2 ,and 4lbs. Ran back to chickamuxen and had blowup after blowup (Big Fish),but couldn't hook up. We boated one monster potomac bass 5.13 in the back,and that was it. what a great day on the river had to be one of my best.
