Water Clarity: 2-3 feet I fished today for a few hours in the afternoon. The lightning cut it short for me. It was bad up the river. The fishing was pretty good as I caught a good many schoolers throwing a home made surface popper. Biggest fish was 4.3. I made that number up on a guess, I figure if I add a decimal point to the lie it will look like I put it on a real scale, then I can stick it up to the camera lens and call it a 4.3 even though it only weights maybe 2-3/4. That flggs guide must think we are really stupid. If you catch 4 pounders, how come they aint in the pictures???? I’ve got days open come fish with me!!!!! Hey, if you fish with me I’ll let you show your biggest fish in the pictures! Some of the guides adds look and sound like infomercials. A couple of them should be selling used cars. (Or maybe they do)?
I fished the Snag Proof. I’m late reporting on that cause I went to the beach and ate a bunch of crabs I caught down there. I’d post a pic of me eating the crabs, but I’m really not that vain. I’m kind of shy when it comes to eating crabs. Nobody seems to care about me when I eat them. Anyway we had a fun day during the frog tournament. Only caught 14 pounds but had a good day catching numbers. Congrats to the winner. Yeah, we were a little disappointed in the boat they gave away. I just wish we would have known for sure what the prize was. But it’s still a decent prize for a days fishing.
I’ll be out there Sunday afternoon. Go get em!
