Friday I fished with a good client of mine who was just down to have fun. Typically our trips are pre-tournament trips but this time it was nice not having to leave the fish once we found them. We started the day using a Heddon Spook Jr., Xcalibur Zell Pop & Yum 10” worm and we caught fish after fish until we had raw thumbs. We targeted water in the 2-6ft range around scattered grass. At noon we decided to change things, so we went deeper and drug a Booyah jig around for the last two hours. It’s almost impossible to keep count when your reeling doubles in left and right but a conservative guess would be 50+ bass for our trip. My client refuses to be on the internet so I did the honors with his fish. The last days I have spent with my family, but I will be back out there the remainder of the week.

I have Sept. 23 & 24th available and days in October.
