Water Clarity: 1 foot I fished up in Valley creek today and could not get bit in the grass or tops. I tried some steep banks way up and found some LM on them with a couple around 2#. I found a hump and put a worm on top of it and a good one hit it but as soon as I put pressure on it I knew it was a big cat. Being kind of slow like I am I put my hand into his gill and lifted him into the boat. As soon as I drug him over the side he went crazy with my hand in his gill. Cut my ring finger so bad I bled all over the yellow boat. I had to go back to the house and doctor my finger. Anyway I took some pictures of him and let him go so he could get back on his hump. I tried to weigh him but my scales would not light up. I guess he may have weighed around 25 pounds. The creek has good color with tons of shad. “Ain’t God Good” Preacher
