Date Fished: 9/3/2008

Water Temperature: 83
Water Clarity: 2-3 feet

Tuesday I decided to extend my holiday weekend by one day and go fishing on Wilson Lake. When Dave and I first got there the fishing were biting pretty good. After about an hour the fish seem to shut down but we keep searching. After a couple of hours of very little action we were thinking about calling it a day, but someone flip on the switch (thanks to however did that) and the fish begin to feed again. We targeted 5-12ft. of water on points and in pockets with Xcalibur Zell Pops, Heddon Spook Jr., Yum Houdini shads and Yum Money Minnows. For the trip we landed around 25 fish and all of them had fat bellies. Kind of reminded me of spring time bass.
