SAM RAYBURN:

Well the numbers of Bass hiding on the Grass bed edges has moved out to deeper water on the breaks and drops with Carolina rigged creature baits and 10" worms and Lizards and flukes catching most of them.

Good colors for 10 " worms has been Plum and Redbug. Carolina rigged baits has been Watermelons, Green Pumpkins, and same as 10 " worms.

Bass up to 7 lbers. were caught this week. Early Bass were hitting Nichols Spinnerbaits in Chartruse/White combos worked on the edges of the Grass. One Bass I caught about 5 lbs. was on a 10 " inch Texas rigged worm worked in about 6-10 feet near Hydrilla.

Water temps were in the low 80's and the creeks and pockets were stained from the North end to about Mudcreek is stained then from Mudcreek to Needmore Point is clearer water.

Lake is Down a little to its low level about 161 or so.

It is about 4:00 am this morning and I am getting my new boat today a New Ranger. Who can sleep.

LAKE PALESTINE:

Lake is at Full Pool right now and Water temps are about 80. Lake is stained in the creeks also and clearer toward the mid-lake to Dam areas.

Bass are hittting Nichols spinnerbaits in White/Chartruse combos or just Chartruses. Bass are feeding on shad in the creek channels towards the back of the creeks and shad patterned shallow running crankbaits are working as well as the spinnerbait bite being really on right now.

After day warms up the Texas rig is ruling worked around wood cover, Grass, and boat docks. Creature baits in Darker colors such as Neon black & Junebug will get you bit. Book a trip and give me a call at 903-478-2633 0r 903-724-1203. Jesus is the King of Kings.
