Date Fished: 9/12/2008 Water Temperature: 80 Well, the bite is still really good for quality fish. The morning numbers bite was slow, but we found the right bites. The afternoon numbers bite was a lot better, with a lot of schooling fish showing up today when the wind calmed down a little. The big fish was caught on a walking bait after the sun finally came out a little. More and more better fish (3-1/2 to 4+ pounds) are mixing in with the schooling fish, so don’t pass any surface activity up. I have the 24, 29 and 30 open this month, and a few days in October. The top-water bite should remain a lot of fun through November if it don’t get too cold early. Good luck and All God’s grace.
