Water Clarity: 1 foot I have two things to say,1st a report,2nd a personal and true comment. I went to find some tourney fish for an up comming event in late sept. Bass fishing was good today with about 45 plus fish averaging 4lbs with best 5 27 and change. Fishing ridges, humps in about 5 to 9 ft of water with scattered milfoil.fishing spooks,zell pops,14 inch worms,swimbaits,and crankbaits.I am from Mcdonough,ga,moved to the guntersville area 2 years ago.i fished guntersville in the past as well. I have tried to invite my SO CALLED FISHING FRIENDS TO GUNTERSVILLE,but the never have come.It comes to my certain conclusion that they are what most Georgia bass fishermen are,intimidated of a nationally known lake like guntersville.The reason for that is because they are too busy going down a bank of 4 to 6 ft of water with a finesse worm and then fishing a dock with some man made brush and sometimes catching 1lb and a half bass. They have no clue about fishing off shore structure with grass,milfoil,hydrilla,1 ounce and a half jigs,using electronics. but the worst thing about it is they run around with fancy rigs making pretend they are bassmasters. keep dreaming,one day maybe you can have the chance run with the major leagues. Long live lake Guntersville!!!!!!Not against people that are versatile bassfishermen and down to earth.
