Date Fished: 9/16/2008 Water Temperature: 79 The cool weather day and water temperature dropping made for a great day on the water. We caught fish all day long, on top water!! The bass moved and feed around the bait in 6 to 9 feet of water all day long. My customers that were getting ready for a tournament in October they were looking for some good fish and a pattern that would hold up; I believe we found them both. We caught several tournament fish, our best five would have been between 18 and 20 pounds, and we put nearly 30 good solid 3 plus pound fish in the boat along with a few bigger ones. We caught a few fish on Mister Twister Lizards, a few on crank baits and many on top! I fished up river today most of the day! September is shaping up to be a great one, October through early November will even be better. Come fish with me I have days available for you!
