Date Fished: 9/16/2008
Water Temperature: 81
Water Clarity: 2-3 feet

The last few trips have been some of the best fishing on the lake for us. We have had great numbers and the colder temps seem to have made the bite just get better as far as bigger fish go. We are still boating huge numbers of schoolers in the mid lake areas but found the bigger baits tend to bring better size upriver. The Bowstick and Mikey Sr. seem to get the better bites and the SK Grande' still is in the lead for numbers. I did notice if the sun gets high(and stays out) the same fish can be caught with Spinnerbaits and Crankbaits. They are not as fast as the topwater but it is working. Hope everyone had a great weekend. I still have open dates in Oct. if your looking for a trip the water.

God Bless
