Finally after a complete motor rebuild I got back on the lake. Haven't fished all year til Sunday and Monday. Fished both days from 4 til dusk. Sunday caught 6 keepers and 3 dinks. Fish were 2 to 6 ft deep. Caught them on TR worm and SB. No big fish, just 1 to 2 lbs. Monday bite was slower. Only landed 2 keepers(1 weighed 3 lbs.) and a few dinks. SB bite was not there. Hooked one lunker on a crappie rig just screwing around , but couldn't land him. Lake is above full and I have never had much luck when it was. I have a feeling in a week or so the fishing will improve. Water temp is getting good. Saw several nice fish cruising in very shallow water, but would not bite anything. Most fish that did bite were holding close to cover.
