Fished the BFL saturday the 7th on Kerr. It was a tuff day for most who fished it seemed. There was 165 boats and it paid back to 32 places I think. I had three keepers for 8 lbs. 8 ozs and finished in 28th place. I caught most my fish on a crankbait but the key was to crank it so slow ya would think it wasnt doing any good at all but they would hit it. Upper part of the lake was very stained with the lower being clear to partly stained. Temps started that morning at 44 and finished in the back of creeks at 53. I did see one fish bust something on top and flipped a tx rig in there and caught the 4 lb'er. It was a very slow bite but even my practice had been bad so being able to put even one fish into the live well was an achievement.
