Date Fished: 4/19/2009 Sigh...got the boat out for the first time of the year. Set out at about noon with low expectations due to the temperature. Expectations met... we didn't get a bite. We threw everything we had at 'em-spinnerbaits, crankbaits, jerkbaits, lipless cranks, spoons, but maybe nothing slow enough. We started at the north end and worked around some points but the wind was brutal. There was not a sign of any fish in 30 feet or under. It was great to get out on the water, but it's been 6 months since my last "fish on", and I just want to remember what it's like!
