My son, his girlfriend and myself launched out of Occoneechee before dawn. Bait was much harder to catch than last Sun. Ended up with just the right amount of 6" herring with some big gizzards mixed in. Fished Turtle Cove all morning and we had caught 12 stripers by lunch with two keepers in the bunch. Caught several large white bass, LM and cats too. Caught fish both on freelines and down lines. We probably lost at least half as many as we caught. It was a fun day on Kerr with family.
