Date Fished: 9/12/2009 PIEDMONT 2-MAN TEAM BASS CLASSIC & TEAM CRAPPIE RESULTS...... September 12th~Jordan Lake~Farrington Point Wildlife Ramp... Conditions 63 to 88 degrees. Water Dingy. Wind 0 to 8 mph. Water Temps to 73+ degrees. Bass fishing was good for only one team. Only 9 keepers were weighed in with 0 deceased. Our guys are really doing a good job keeping them alive! Texas & C-rigs were the prime ticket along with some crankbaits. Bass seemed to be on channel or point dropoffs and around stump bottoms. 3 out of the 7 teams weighed in but everyone caught fish! Hunting season is here! Need some rain!! Bass Division~7 Teams Entered 1st~Todd & Chris Massey of Chapel Hill...5 Fish...23.43 lbs...$560... Big Fish Award...Team above....6.84 lbs.....$70... Team Crappie Division~4 Teams Entered... 1st~David & Phenice Perrel of Germanton...10 fish...11.78 lbs...$160... Big Fish Award...Team above....1.82 lbs.....$20... I want to thank all those that participated in the 2 events and really want to say thanks to those that fished the team crappie event that drove all the way from the Winston area to fish Jordan!
