Subject: Falls Lake, North Carolina Submitted by Old Lake Bassmasters
Date Fished: 10/10/2009 Old Lake Bassmasters fished its October Club tournament at Falls out of Upper Barton Creek. Conditions were tough with low water and forecast calling for rain. There seemed to be plenty of baitfish around, but the bite was tough. Plenty of shorts reported, but the 16 inch keepers were few. Results: 1st place; 2 fish 5 lbs 9 ounces, 2nd place; 1 fish 3 lbs, 3rd place; 1 fish 2 lbs 12 ounces. Big Fish 3 lbs 6.5 ounces Old Lake is an FLW/TBF affiliated club that meets @ Gander Mt. in Greensboro on Thursdays around the 1st week in the month. for more information contact: David Ginther at dlginther@att.net
