Had Club Tourney launched out of upper Barton's weather was great and the wind was not much of a problem. Cannot say the same for the fishing i would say half the club zeroed while the other half got 1 and i think two people got 2 fish, there was a 6.2, 3, 5lb (+) weighed and a few 16"(+) weighed in. I caught 7 fish total on a white/chart spinner bait the fish were short striking the spinner bait so I added a stinger hook and caught my first and only keeper a 17"=2.58lbs, the other fish were caught on shad raps, shaky heads, rattle trap style baits and crank baits the big fish of the day was caught on a rattle trap style bait a lot of short fish caught by all the heavy weights 5lb and up were nice healthy fish full of eggs but did not show any signs on the tails that they had been bedding but they are getting real close all fish were caught in 6-8 ft.When we launched the temp outside was 33 degrees the bit started to pick up around noon after the sun had warmed things up talked to most of the guys who caught fish and they all had said they did not hook up with the keeper fish until around that time same as i did with the warmer weather coming this week and weekend should be some good fishing coming to falls with some heavy sakes especially if the water clears up after all this rain for some prime site fishing.
