Fished again today, I say fished...not catched. Only caught three two and changers. I ventured out some today and tried mid cranking, worming(just for a minute) and even fished 10 docks. All I can say is I'm glad there are other lakes closer to my crib in Greenville. This sucker is tough. My hat is off to those of you that know how to catch the ones that you don't have to bump on the board. Best of luck to everyone up here that have planned a trip, it's always better fishing than our other options...well, most of our other options anyway. If you're traveling with your wife then you have all angles covered in my opinion.

I have seen hundreds of big gills in the back of the short shoots off the main creeks pockets in both Nutbush, Big Mill and Grassy too so I have a feeling some guys/gals are gonna be having some fun watching the infamous 'cork plunger' in the next few weeks. My wife don't care too much for fishing but when I will 'guarantee' her that she can go watch her 'cork plunge'(her words, not mine) all day then she's all in like there was free Krispy Kreme donuts on the boat or something. I love it!
