Went out and fished jordan saturday from around 6:30 to 12 ish. fished some lay downs in the backs of pockets. found what looked like a nice spawning flat and just ran my 1/2 ounce spinnerbait through it but nothing. thought i'd try it one more time so i just used a 1/8 ounce spinner bait and went backwards. I ended up catching a 4 pound largemouth! I guess sometimes the fish just want those smaller lures. By then it was around 7:30. about 30 minutes later i was fishing a texas rigged lizard and got another bass about 10 inches long. The next hour or 2 felt very long. But ended up catching a few more short largemouths in the middle of some backwaters on the 1/2 ounce spinner. Im going to be fishing falls this weekend, does anyone have any tips? -Mike Crosby
