Date Fished: 5/1/2010 Today was interesting at best. Out by myself so I put the boat in the water and left it running. Went to park the truck and came back and the motor was over heating. For all those with a VMAX yes it was the water pump. I was not throwing in the towel though. I hit the trolling motor and off to some close coves. Fished the grass a little top water and some slow soft plastic. Had a few roll overs and some nibbles but nothing for a hour or so. Then I grabbed my top water one last time before I gave up and headed to find a water pump. A few casts later a nice post spawn chunk! Take your lemons and make lemonade! I made all the junk worth it!
