Date Fished: 5/26/2010
Water Clarity: 0

I spoke with a Progress Energy person today and he said that the 10 year plan was to raise the lake level 12 to 15 feet to support the second Nuclear reactor. This will mean that the bridge at the upper end will have to be rebuilt along with the boat ramps and of course clearing of all of the trees around the new shore line/level. The county park will be under water. The new lake level will be close to the level of back bay and maybe they will open that area to fishing instead of only to a select few of the Security folks as it is today!
