Date Fished: 7/1/2010 Fished from 12 Noon to 6:30 PM. Caught 13 bass. Best 5 went about 25 lbs. 2 were over 8lbs and 3 in the 3lb range. 7 of the bass were caught on a junebug, t-rigged worm. The others were caught on a 1/2 oz green pumpkin jig. 4 of the 5 were on the jig, including one of the big girls. The fish were biting shallower than I expected. They were all in less than 10 feet of water. I fished water as deep as 25 feet, and never got a deep bite. If anyone is going out this weekend, stay safe. It's going to be a madhouse. Tight lines.
