Date Fished: 9/30/2010 Got back down on the river today with Jim. Smallmouth have apparently left my summer hole as this was the 3rd trip in a row with little to show. On the bright side though the white bass are beginning to get very active. Got on a big school out in the main river and just whacked 'em on a silver spoon in about 26-30ft of water. Had the live well full with a limit in short order. I needed that spoon practice for Lanier in 3 weeks. Really excited about getting back down for a couple days. I guess other than my Lanier trip I will probably stay focused on the whites for the next few weeks. Love catching those things on light tackle. Tight lines, Ron
