Date Fished: 11/2/2011 Dropping water temps have us gravitating to more sharply dropping structure where we find willing bass. We use a deep diving crank, such as a Bomber 6A or a Wiggle Wart and even a Mann’s 15 plus to locate the bass. We then work the areas over with grubs. A Mann’s Sting Ray rigged on a ¼ ounce ball jig or a Zoom action tail grub rigged the same way. As usual, we apply Smelly Jelly fish attractant to our baits. Grass still holds bass and we prefer to fish grasses in two to three feet of water on the falling tide during the warmer part of a sunny day. Our most productive bait for this pattern has been a wacky rigged stick worm fished weightless. Crappie are schooling around cover in seven feet of water and like a small crappie tube fished slowly around the cover.
