Date Fished: 4/27/2012 This report is for all the people fishing the Mark's tourny . I went out and practiced today and the fishing was awesome!! I probably had a 20lb limit mixed bag of spots and largemouths. I caught most of them on a 1/4oz white rooster tail just below the logan martin dam and in the feeder creeks above the hwy 280 bridge. I finished my limit out and had my big fish on a black and yellow beetle spin. They ate a jerk bait really well also, but it was really just good for numbers. What ever you do stay out of areas like Beeswax that area is like the dead sea. Absolutely no fish to be found in there. If it was me fishing tomorrow I would run as far up river as I could. Leave all that grass fishing in mid river for the people wanting to waste there time. Good luck out there and see yall out there tomorrow.
