This report is for the last week on Guntersville. First the wind that we had made it for a tough week limiting the areas you could fish. The shad spawn is just now starting in a few areas but its not widespread. Numbers were down with weather playing a big part catching 15-20 on a full day and half that on half day trips. Some days we had a few better quality fish and others most were small being 2-3 lbs with the bigger fish being spread out. Best baits were KVD spinnerbaits, KVD 2.5, Rage craw, and Spit N King. It seems the fish are spread out catching some in 1-3ft. Then some are on outside grallines in 6-9ft and a few out deep in 14-20ft. With some warm weather it should group the fish up a lot better. I have May 15th-17th, 21st,23rd,24th,28th-30th.
