Date Fished: 6/30/2012 Prior to heading down to Kentucky Lake last week, I contacted Dave Stewart Guide Service to find out what I needed to do to catch some fish. He was booked throughout the month, so I bought some spots from him. He told me where to go and what to fish. I know, not the most sporting way, but I wanted to spend my time catching fish not looking for them on the ledges. I just wanted to give a shout out to him for such a great job. He gave me 15 locations, and I only ever made it to 5. We whacked them on every ledge we fished. They were hitting really light on Carolina rigs in 6-40 feet of water. I caught my second largest bass ever tipping the scales just shy of 7 pounds. Great week.
