Submitted by John Cory (ip 209.83.46.237)

Date Fished: 7/18/1999
Fished the upper lake and Wisconsin River from 7:30 till noon. Current still pretty strong from recent rains. Tried several different spots and caught 10 smallies from 12" to 16", and one huge perch that hit a large spinnerbait. We lost 2 smallies and a nice largemouth at the boat. Chartreuse and white spinnerbaits, as well as crawdad colored crankbaits were all we needed. The day started slow with sunny skies, but as clouds moved in about 9, the action picked up. Great way to spend the morning. jdc
